Sasan Ahmadi Kakavandi , Rahim Koushesh Shabestari (Author in Charge), Fatemeh Modarresi
Abstract
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: Ferdowsi"s Shahnameh is one of the most valuable works of Persian poetry, which is rooted in ancient beliefs and values. It"s poems have benefited from the collective unconscious. In this article, by extracting verses relating to the archetype of the archetype in Ferdowsi"s Shahnameh, an attempt has been made to consider one of the most ancient archetypes of Shahnameh.
METHODOLOGY: This article was conducted using a descriptive-analytical method. Also, data from the story of Kiyomars to the reign of Lohrasbs kingdom in Ferdowsi"s Shahnameh, which is a small part of the collection of veils , has been used for a doctoral thesis
FINDINGS: The archetype of the veil in this article deals with the actions and dialogues of the characters in the epic and heroic stories of Ferdowsi"s Shahnameh, mentioning the kingdoms of this magnificent work. Most negative personas are less common in characters who have divine grace.
CONCLUSION: The main body of the article uses veils that the person wants to behave as if he is not. Although the person who wears the veil has his veil revealed before or after achieving his goals. As a witness, after Bijan is caught in the Afrasiab"s well, he clings to a veil that is unbelievable to the King of the Turks. But after using a trick and entering the castle, Gordafarid reveals her true identity.
